Orange for Christmas?

Hello Crafty Friends,
Are you a fan of traditional Christmas colours? or do you like non-traditional? Well the challenge at Christmas cards all year round was to do just that! Check out the inspiration there! I pulled out some stash of Christmas paper that had orange in it and used my CTMH Miracle of Christmas Holiday and made two cards....here they are....

They still look pretty traditional to me. I added the candy canes which was a picture inspiration from Always playing with paper, go check them out.
What do you think?

Atlantic Hearts sketch # 183

Hello Crafty Friends,
Todays sketch at Atlantic Hearts was a tricky one for me. I finally thought the stripes looked a bit like balloon strings so that is where my card developed from. I used some non-ctmh paper I am using up and this super cute image from friendly pets B1481 and made this card. Here is the sketch
And here is the card I made...
I hope you will join us, I love seeing everyones take on the sketches!

Warm Holiday Wishes

Hello crafty friends,
I wanted to keep making cards with my new Warm Holiday Wishes stamp set from CTMH so I looked to some blog challenges for inspiration.... here is the card I came up with...
I wanted to use emboss resist which is my favourite stamping technique that Between the folds challenge is featuring. I also used the sketch from52 Christmas Card Throwdown as I would love to be apart of their design team! And to Christmas Cards all year round for their monochromatic challenge.
I am not sure if it needs something else???
