Traditional Christmas vs Not

Hello Crafty Friends,
This month we are showing Traditional vs Non-Traditional Christmas cards. If you have come from Michelle Stewart's blog then you are in the right place.

I think I am more of a traditional Christmas girl as that is what I end up making... I sure do love the non-traditional colours of pink and purple too but my cards just don't reflect that..

Here is my attempt to use up the last of snow haven paper pack. I thought, lets use it all....have you ever done that? I'm getting close.

Some borrowed house mouse stamps, so much fun to colour!

And this is all I have left....hmmm maybe ONE more???

Now if you hop along to Donna Thomson-Digby's blog to see what inspiration she has.
Thank you for visiting, please leave a comment, I don't always reply but it makes me smile to read your comments and see which you like best.

Hope you will join us this week!

AHSC #187

Hello Crafty Friends,
Happy Monday! I made my card today for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge Blog and I really like how it turned out! I love the inspiration that following a sketch gives, don't you?
Here is the sketch...
And here is my card... I used some current paper, retired paper, the music notes were stamped on cardstock and the poinsettia leaves and the poinsettia was cut from the new flower market cartridge as well as the Noel, and I added shimmer brush to the noel....what do you think?

I tried to get a close up of the flower, I also inked all the edges of the petals.
I hope you like it and find some inspiration too.

Nov. Team Blog Hop

Hello Crafty Friends,
Welcome to the Team Brea-er's blog hop. This month we are focusing on the City Sidewalks paper pack. It is a circular hop, and if you have come from  Emily's Blog  then you are in the right place!
I didn't get many of the new stamps, well we cant buy them all! So I used an old but favourite snowman set! coloured with markers and used the shimmer brush on the snow man and snow. Love that tool!

Use the new snow flake die on this card! Its so easy to use!

And this card is actually a fold out.... the one side has only the 2 inch strip then the snowman, I think they call it a double fold card.

Now please Hop over to Sheena's Blog and see her lovely artwork with this paper pack.
If you would like any of the products used please message your consultant, Or ME HERE

Orange for Christmas?

Hello Crafty Friends,
Are you a fan of traditional Christmas colours? or do you like non-traditional? Well the challenge at Christmas cards all year round was to do just that! Check out the inspiration there! I pulled out some stash of Christmas paper that had orange in it and used my CTMH Miracle of Christmas Holiday and made two cards....here they are....

They still look pretty traditional to me. I added the candy canes which was a picture inspiration from Always playing with paper, go check them out.
What do you think?

Warm Holiday Wishes

Hello crafty friends,
I wanted to keep making cards with my new Warm Holiday Wishes stamp set from CTMH so I looked to some blog challenges for inspiration.... here is the card I came up with...
I wanted to use emboss resist which is my favourite stamping technique that Between the folds challenge is featuring. I also used the sketch from52 Christmas Card Throwdown as I would love to be apart of their design team! And to Christmas Cards all year round for their monochromatic challenge.
I am not sure if it needs something else???
