January Cross Canada Blog Hop

Hello Crafty Friends!

Welcome to our January Blog Hop featuring Catalog Recreations. To purchase any of the items seen in our blog hop today, contact your local consultant to place an order.
We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop! If you came from Pam's Blog then you are in the right place!

So for my project I chose to make the card kit G1124 called Here for you using the colours Willow and Blossom and Some kind of Wonderful B&T. The kit makes 12 cards and two patterns. Here are the two cards according to directions.....

And here are some variations that I made and I still have more paper and shimmer trim and dots to use! I added the zip strips and gold shimmer brush on this one...
I used our markers to colour this butterfly from the stamp set B1516 your beautiful self for the next two.

And for a more masculine card I used the retired set called Roar D1505.

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Terri Anne Diack's Blog.
If you get lost along the way, you can head to Michelle Stewart's Blog as she has the complete list.

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to get creative using some of the designs, products and techniques seen along the way. We hope you will join us again next month when we will be featuring projects featuring succulents and flowers. So mark February 15th on your calendars and hop along with us.
Until next time!
Michelle Hughes

  1. Great way to show how you can take a cutting guide and tweak it to create different designs.
