Christmas card for Sketch #20

Hello crafty friends! This is my second post for the day! Love getting things done :) This week at Atlantic Hearts sketch blog this is the supper cute sketch....

I made a Christmas card :) Using retired papers but I wanted to use snowflakes intead of the hearts so this is what I have come up with.....

What do you think?
Used the cricut for the snowflakes and since I have never sewen on a card I just edge distressed the pieces.

I have also entered this card into a "new to me" blog called Here Come The Boys and it is only for masculine/boy cards! What a cool idea!!

Hope you are making your Christmas cards! It has really helped me take some of the stress out of the year by doing them early :)

color my heart # 59

Hello crafty friends!
     This weekend I made a card for the colormy heart dare #59. The dare was to use slate and whisper with another colour. Well I chose black....does that count? I just love the Huntington paper pack!! it is sooo versitile. This is the card I made with it......

I scored the top portion and added the gems. Sweet is embossed for extra blackness (?word L0L)

So what do you think?

Atlantic Hearts sketch #19

Hello crafty friends!
     Today is the day for Atlantic Hearts Sketch blog sketch #19!! I had inspiration from the Huntington papers and the matching workshop on the go stamp set to complete this card! here is the sketch

And here is my card......

I also used some burlap ribbon and rosewood mini-medley accents on page 119 of the current idea book. I love them!! and I'm very happy with my card :)

Brae'ers Team Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends!
 
     Well its time again for our team's blog hop! If you have come from Kim McArhter's blog then you are in the right place!! This month we will be focusing on the cricut and the art work that they can do!

CTMH now has 3 cartridges with over 700 images in each! they really pack a punch! I have just receive the newest one called "artbooking" and this is the layout I made....

I used Sorbet card stock because it really captured the beautiful sunset! and the paper surfs up was perfect! Luckily you can still get that paper as it has carried over to this idea book on page 55.

I used the overlay on pay 81 and the photo frame from page52 and the words coolin off from page 53. Here is a closeup of the left side......

and now the right side

I also used the workshop on the go stamp set for the sun and the wave :) It may need some more embellishments.....what do you think????

Huntington cards

Hello crafty friends,
    today I made a few cards....one if for the  freshly made sketches #101. Go check them out :)

this is the sketch......and here is my card....

I turned it and used the Huntington paper and the coordinating Happy Autumn stamp set. This card also qualifies for the challenge over at Heart 2 Heart to "make a scene"

colour dare challenge # 57

Hello Crafty Friends!
    I am enjoying the colour dare Challenges over at Color My Heart blog! This week the challenge is Pacifica and sky blue! I love theses colours! I pair it the Pro Player Paper pack and a new stamp set Tech Speak that I just got yesterday! My son is a big gamer and so I am loving this card :)

Hello Crafty friends!
      Today I had some time to make a few cards. First was for the colour dare over at http://www.colormyheartcolordare.blogspot.ca/  The colors are pear, lagoon, and buttercup. They came out pretty bright on my card.....so far its not my fav. What do you think?

     My next card was one I had started making and finished when I found it today since my boss asked me to make some thank you cards :)

     This last card is for my honeys birthday today :) I also used the AHSC #17 check them out here .http://atlanticheartschallenge.blogspot.ca/ This one was a little bit of a challenge for me but I really like how it turned out! love the proplayer paper pack and the hexagon shapes :)

Well.....Im off for vacation for 2 weeks! I cant wait!! Going camping in Algonquin.... So far the weather looks good! Hope it stays warm!
