 Hello Crafty Friends, 

I started with an idea for this sketch, and then found just a little bit of this old paper and cardstock that I wanted to use up. I also knew I needed more "male" baby cards because i did a craft fair last weekend and sold all my boy/baby boy cards! 

So this is the card I created..

And because I really wanted to finish up the paper and move back to Christmas cards, I kept going. Well I turned out 10 cards in total! I am feeling accomplished. 

Variety of baby, boy and even a Christmas Card in there :)

Snowy sketch #653

 Hello Crafty Friends,

Today's sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge is pretty versatile and was designed, I'm sure, for the Elegant Pines paper and stamp set from Stampin up, which i had so much fun playing with today!

Here is my card... 

And this is the sketch challenge inspiration.... 

Its a bit hard to see the oval behind the snowflake but its there, In real life it looks really pretty. Is this a stamp set and paper that you would use? I like that it will work for winter, and here in ontario we have a LONG winter. 

Cant wait to see what you do with this sketch.

Tis the season

 Hello Crafty friends, 

Today i have carved out the day to just be creative in my craft room. I want to start my Christmas cards so i clinked on the Christmas cards all year website and thought i would try to make a card with the song "Hard Christmas candy" as inspiration. 

So i first went to spotify to listen to the song. The first one to show was Dolly Parton singing it. The line "just fine and dandy" struck me, its a bit melon cauly and it reminded me that sometimes chirstmas is stressful.... I have this little elf who is having trouble hanging his Christmas lights and seems to be "falling" so that is how i ended up creating my card! I hope the design team will allow this as the criteria :)

And since the supplies and this paper was out, i made a second card.

you are going to just love the sketch this week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge, ok well all weeks are good but this one i found particularily easy :)

I used the new Christmas greetings for the flowers, because i love the image and it worked well for the sketch. Can easily switch the colours and DSP I used to make it a christmas card but i wanted a birthday card for my daughter :)

Happy Camper

It is my partners Birthday coming up and he always asks "are you a happy camper" or some version of that, so that was the start of my inspiration today.

Winter wishes

 Hello Crafty Friends, 

Wow summer is so busy! I thought as I got older I would have more "time" but It is not feeling like that for me. I just got back from Ottawa weekend and I am heading out in 30min to my sisters also over an hour away! I managed to make this card with "left over supplies" and the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Here and I love it!

I have had a very busy summer, this week's sketch at Atlantic Hearts sketch Challenge, I only had about 30min to complete so I grabbed what was on my desk. I do love this paper and stamp set anyway so its a win win. 

Here is my card, if i could have done it differently I would have embossed the sentiment right on the green base page but i think only in person can you see the edge.

Christmas in July

 Hello Crafty Friends, 

Some how I missed a week, I have been working WAY too much. 

So now I am trying to stay ahead if i can. 

Here is the sketch # 629 at Atlantic Hearts. 

And this is my card. I used some stampin up DSP and the beautiful gold ribbon, but the rest is old CTMH. 

It was challenging to add the sentiment, but i think it turned out ok, just in a different corner than the sketch.

Terrific toad stool

 HI Crafty Friends,

Make a Wish

 Hello Crafty Friends, 

I am blessed to still be on vacation in Mexico. I brought just 2 paper packs with me, so This is the card I made for the Atlantinc Hearts Sketch Challenge #623. 

If i was home i would have added another card stock layer but i neglected to bring any with me :( I also didnt have any oval shapes so the square was the best I could do. 

I will be happy to be in my craft room again soon!

I wish i had done the ladybugs different but it is what it is :)
