Sketch #223 Christmas

Hello Crafty Friends,
This weeks Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge is so much fun to play with! Here is the sketch....
Here is my take on the sketch...first I wanted to make some Christmas Cards and use up some old paper and I had some borrowed images all ready coloured so this came together in less time than to write the post :) Here it is.....

I'm pretty happy with it. What do you think? Have you started making your Christmas Cards yet?

July focus on masculine blog hop

Hello Crafty Friends

Welcome to our July Blog Hop featuring Masculine themed artwork. To purchase any of the items seen in our blog hop today, contact your local consultant to place an order.

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you came from Diana Saunders then you are in the right place!

My first card is with the no worries paper pack and I just love this fish from B1535 Hooked on you.  I'm so sad the stamp set is retiring at the end of July! I coloured the fish with Shinhan and Copic markers.
This next card was made with the Jack paper and Jack Scrapbooking stamp set. I love the lumber jack man. I also coloured it markers and I roughed up the edges of the paper for texture.

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Candra's Blog, to see more masculine ideas!

If you get lost along the way, you can head to Michelle Stewart's Blog as she has the complete blog list.

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to get creative using some of the designs, products and techniques seen along the way. We hope you will join us again next month when we will be featuring Projects inspired from the New Products from the New Annual Inspirations Catalog. So mark August 15th on your calendars and hop along with us.
Happy Crafting!

AHSC #219

Hello Crafty Friends!
I have not been crafting in weeks it seems! We bought a fixer up house for my oldest daughter and some friends to rent, it has been exhausting working all day then spending time at the house at night! And we haven't done anything like this so know which steps to do first is stalling us. Anyway I managed to make a card for this weeks Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge! here is the sketch...

And the card I made uses the no worries paper pack..... I just love it! I also used the complements, ribbon and stamp set and thin cuts from no worries card making set Z3337. At first I didn't want to buy this set but it really is very versatile!
I love using the zip strips and this sketch was perfect for that! I hope you can squeeze in some time to play with us too!!
