CTMH 2014 Spring/summer Team Blog Hop

My focus was on the supper cute mini stamp sets! I used 3 of the new sets on page 119 of the new book. I coloured them with markers after embossing them for more emphasis. I also embossed the back ground paper with dots (you can find them on page 130) and Ivy lane paper on pg 25.

 

 

For this card I cut the cloud shape out from the cricut and embossed them with the dots, added shading with sky markers. And I used the new balloons and the happy birthday mini from the last book its number is m1033 in case you need that one.....at $2.95 its easy to have them all :)



I cut the shape for the perfect day banner out on the cricut too.. :)

AHSC #41

    Well it was a wintery weekend here in Orillia and maybe that's what inspired my card for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog .... this is their sketch for today...#41

and here is my card....I used only cardstock and cut out the cute bears from Polar Bear Holiday....

 

its a pretty simple card but I like it :)

Zombie challenges

Hello Crafty Friends,
     I am still playing with the zombies that my friend lent me and I was looking for inspiration. I found it in MOJO Monday and Crazy 4 challenges!!
First I used this sketch from Crazy 4 Challenges and this sketch....

and here is my card....I coloured the zombie with my new copic markers and retired CTMH paper

The words say "your a great friend, but if zombies chase us Im tripping you" lol. so funny!!

My next card is for Mojo Monday here is the sketch....

 



I used the same paper and colouring :) the inside says "Brains" of course....I think its going to be a valentine for my co-worker!

And one final card with some left over paper....inside says "Birthdays are like zombies, they just keep coming and coming till your dead"

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #39

 

Hello Crafty Friends!
    Its time for anther card with the Atlantic Hearts Sketch #39!! Here is the sketch

 

My first card was from a stamp set my friend lent me....I love it but it wasn't quite good enough but here it is....

The inside says....but if zombies chase us, im tripping you. Sorry. LOL I love it!!

This was a second one I did for fun! the inside says "they just keep coming and coming until your dead" LOL isn't it cool??? they aren't CTMH, im not sure which company but fun to play with. I coloured them with my new copic markers too!

This next card is the one im submitting. It used the colours in Skylark, new in the next idea book...I don't have any new produrct yet but I was dying to use it. Stamp set is fabulous You seasons and nature c1533 and uses the emboss resist back ground technique....

MOJO house mouse valentine

Hello crafty friends,
   Well I have finally jumped on the valentines band wagon, mostly because this month house mouse challenge is to use a stamp you haven't used in a while....and for me that is my cute little valentine mouse stamp. For inspiration I used the MOJO Monday #328 sketch
and I was thinking masculine card but it turned out more feminine but its my first one so here it is

I used the Huntington papers that are now retired...I am entering this card into the house mouse challenge HERE

What do you think??

Card Club tonight!

Hello Crafty Friends!

 

 

   I was getting stressed about tonights card club! I didn't have any ideas and my Mojo is lacking...never mind time :) So with the last of this CTMH catalog I decided to use an overlay on my card. I cruised pintrest for hours and this card formed in my head :) I didn't intend to use the frosted paper pack but its sooo versatile.....

 

What do you think? I love it....hope my card ladies do too :)

Atlantic Sketch #37

Hello Crafty Friends!
And Happy New year!! I have had a crazy busy holiday...too much work but isn't that always the case??? :) This week I am making this card for the sketch here .....

I used the laughing Lola paper and the new to me Pigment Ink :) I stamped the black pigment ink then the Smokey plum over top. I love the rich colours....what do you think???
