Atlantic Hearts sketch #7

Hello cardmaking friends :)
   I have finally had time to make a card for the Atlantic Hearts sketch #7. I used the surfs up paper pack and under the sea stamp set. I think I will have to make another card with this sketch...I came together very quickly :)

I hope you like it...I seems a little dark to me...Ill have to work on that.

Christmas card swap

Hello crafty friends,
   I was so inspired by Michelle Stewart's card and the Atlantic sketch here http://mycreationswithmichelle.blogspot.ca/2013/06/totally-awesome.html that I created a Christmas card for my swap buddies that used the colour gradient change and this weeks sketch again :) I love how it turned out and I hope you do to :)

Love the card sketch blogs :)

Hello crafty friends :)
    I was hoping to get a lot of cards done this week but so far only two. This first card is for http://atlanticheartschallenge.blogspot.ca/ sketch number 6 :) I used the stamp set love life and colour are from the tommy paper pack of honey, cranberry and outdoor denim. I love the strong statement these colours make!

and my next card is for mojo monday #296 you can see it here http://mojomonday.blogspot.ca/ Again I use the tommy paper pack and also the complements linen stickers. It went together really fast!

sketch challenge

   I just love the inspiration from card sketch challenges! This week I created 2 cards based on the sketch from the Atlantic hearts team at  http://atlanticheartschallenge.blogspot.ca/ so here are my cards :)
this first card uses the dream pop paper and the stamp set card word puzzle c1494

 this card is my favorite and uses the always paper and fabulous you seasons and nature stamp set c1533.

May Team Blog Hop

Hello Crafty Friends!
     Welcome to another team blog hop! This month our focus was on "inspiration" and for me this was easy since most things I do come from someone else's artwork. So this is how it works....I serf pintrest and my favorite blogs and see a sketch or technique and the I use my CTMH products to make it my own. :) This is a circular blog so If you have come from Carols blog http://craftycarol55.blogspot.com/2013/05/may-team-blog-hop.htm you have come from the right place :) Here is what I have done .....
This first card was inspired by the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and here is my card. I used the dream pop paper. the Owl is on the paper and it was just so I cool I had to use it as a focal point. :)

 My next card was inspired by this card on pintrest. I loved the technique and wanted to teach it to my club members.....they loved the card we made..check it out :)

this card used the white wash technique. we first embossed the image in white embossing powder onto kraft cardstock, then coloured in some of the image with the blender pen with white daisy pigment ink and then used the markers to shade. we also used the burlap ribbon, buzz and bumble paper pack and the stamp set fabulous you seasons and nature c1533.

Buzz and Bumble challenges
